Unfortunately, every so often we have to bring you some terrifying news. Kenzie Taylor is living through a real nightmare because of an obsessed fan she fears may kill her. Ever since the performer announced that she had retired from the sets, this guy has completely lost it and started stalking and repeatedly threatening her.
The performer has tried to take every precaution possible, but says she is still very scared by the situation. Here is her full tweet:
“If anything happens to me, I was 100% kidnapped or killed by someone who calls himself a ‘fan.’ I have a ‘fan’ who stalks me, bullies me online, harasses me, and does everything he can to message me or post horrible, graphic things about me. All because I publicly stated that I’m not currently working for the studios.
I fear for my safety and my life. To anyone who wants to share content on X: it’s no longer safe. I’ve reported this person’s death threats, the other horrible messages, and so on. I even made my profile private for months. Now I don’t allow anyone to comment on my social media accounts because of the death threats and harassment.
X rejected every report and allowed this person to continue; now he has two profiles. He is sick and scary. I was never a fearful person before all this, and now I’m terrified. Real fans of performers do not behave this way. I’ve met thousands of fans in real life, and they are kind, caring people who genuinely appreciate the art of our work.
I’m scared, and this is not a joke. I don’t know when I’ll come back here again. I no longer feel safe posting anything.”
Let’s hope law enforcement can help restore her peace of mind. What a disgraceful situation. I’m speechless.
