We’re talking about two actresses who can sometimes seem staged and not very spontaneous—a big part of why so many people appreciated them. Jia seems to be acting in a film set in Hollywood, while Alexis sometimes seems possessed.
These qualities give them something in common, but also something almost opposite. Would it be an intriguing mix, or would the film feel incoherent?
What types of scenes would they work well in together? Definitely a family video, perhaps as mother and daughter—or, even more plausibly, as a boyfriend’s mother and his girlfriend. Alexis could approach the girl to put her to the test, then teach her how to really make her son happy by demonstrating her techniques.
